The new third edition of Under the Plum Tree by Chung Fu is now in print, edited by Marjorie B. Giles and published by Inkwell, Dobbins, CA. Chung Fu is a teacher from the Chuang Tse school, following Lao Tse in China during the Fourth Century BPE. Chung Fu is now channeled by Sally Pullinger in Glastonbury, Somerset, UK. During a reading in November 2009, Chung Fu thanked Marjorie for her collaboration with him and urged her to continue her life’s work on Tao and her personal writing, that it would “flow easily into the world as a food, to change things.”

Social and Digital Media

The impact of social media on American youth is having serious long-term consequences. As a teacher I saw that students who are grounded in the here and now are the least successful. Social media encourage this inward focus. To be successful in school and outward-looking, social media tend to exclude input other than from the peer group.
Constant bombardment with entertainment and advertising persuades student s that they have a right--and a need-- to be entertained at all times. School or parental input is seen as an intrusion on the student's world.

Instead of Armageddon

Instead of armageddon, what we’re experience now is an incremental cataclysm already underway with earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, tornadoes and other natural disasters engendered by our planet in its effort to renew itself from the trashing we’ve been giving it. Restoration is happening on all fronts. The reptilian forces along with the new world order are in decline. Even our president is shifting priorities from powers to peoples. Friendly persuasion marks the new process of restoration wherever possible. Illuminati powers are being identified as flouting safety procedures and s.losing face for now and soon influence as well. The planet will no longer support greed, profit and destruction of itself. The end is indeed on its way here.

Arab countries provided the impetus for change, with people discovering they need not succumb to poverty for themselves and corruption from their leaders. Gradually, Europe is accepting the fact that civilizations have a right to freedom from oppression, and where it erupts, it should be eliminated.

Every act of correction leads to another. It’s happening on Wall Street and in the middle east. Pretty soon, the U.S. congress will catch on.
