Self-motivation Speaker
I had an invitation as guest speaker on self-motivation at King's College London. I checked with National Writer's Union and learned they had another similar message from a writer on health and it turned out to be a scam. The original message smacked on English as a Second Language, hardly appropriate for and English professor at King's College. I chickened out before I knew, but realized I know the subject and could have talked for an hour easily. I'm an expert, and already have 61,000 words on the subject.
Blessings. MG

inkblog: The Subconscious Mind
Discover your higher consciousness, where you already possess freedom, abundance, clarity and good will.
The new third edition of Under the Plum Tree by Chung Fu is now in print, edited by Marjorie B. Giles and published by Inkwell, Dobbins, CA. Chung Fu is a teacher from the Chuang Tse school, following Lao Tse in China during the Fourth Century BPE. Chung Fu is now channeled by Sally Pullinger in Glastonbury, Somerset, UK. During a reading in November 2009, Chung Fu thanked Marjorie for her collaboration with him and urged her to continue her life’s work on Tao and her personal writing, that it would “flow easily into the world as a food, to change things.”
Zen students and Tibetan Buddhists will find similarities and enhancements in these teachings. Tao principles form the basis of Tai Chi, Feng Shui and other ancient disciplines.
Chung Fu teaches that after you circumvent the flawed belief systems of your subconscious mind your higher self is revealed to you. The higher self is found within every individual. Every individual is immortal and flawless. Chung Fu shows how to reach the truth of yourself and the world outside.
Under the Plum Tree may be ordered at Amazon.com and Amazon International, in print and ebook forms, or for autographed copies, from the publisher, www.inkwellbooks.com.

Social and Digital Media
The impact of social media on American youth is having serious long-term consequences. As a teacher I saw that students who are grounded in the here and now are the least successful. Social media encourage this inward focus. To be successful in school and outward-looking, social media tend to exclude input other than from the peer group.
Constant bombardment with entertainment and advertising persuades student s that they have a right--and a need-- to be entertained at all times. School or parental input is seen as an intrusion on the student's world.

Instead of Armageddon
Instead of armageddon, what we’re experience now is an incremental cataclysm already underway with earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, tornadoes and other natural disasters engendered by our planet in its effort to renew itself from the trashing we’ve been giving it. Restoration is happening on all fronts. The reptilian forces along with the new world order are in decline. Even our president is shifting priorities from powers to peoples. Friendly persuasion marks the new process of restoration wherever possible. Illuminati powers are being identified as flouting safety procedures and s.losing face for now and soon influence as well. The planet will no longer support greed, profit and destruction of itself. The end is indeed on its way here.
Arab countries provided the impetus for change, with people discovering they need not succumb to poverty for themselves and corruption from their leaders. Gradually, Europe is accepting the fact that civilizations have a right to freedom from oppression, and where it erupts, it should be eliminated.
Every act of correction leads to another. It’s happening on Wall Street and in the middle east. Pretty soon, the U.S. congress will catch on.

Taxation
Politicians hammer us (the right is especially prone to this) with the notion that we are taxed and regulated to death. They realize the American voter, by and large, is ignorant of what goes on elsewhere. Look at a tax bill in the United Kingdom or Germany or Denmark. Try to get a license or permit in France or Italy. Consider that the crisis in Greece is due to the massive under-reporting, with impunity, of income and the huge overpaid, inefficient bureaucracy.

Our Troll
Our Troll
By David Giles
Silhouetted against a hazy moonlit sky one night, I saw a troll; not a dwarf Danish or Swedish troll but rather a giant Norwegian forest troll. Ugly to be sure--as trolls are supposed to be--but not fearsome at all. It peered down benevolently from its height of some 135 feet. My wife and I consider it a guardian spirit. Some observer friends see a troll, others merely an ordinary Ponderosa pine. Several see an eye like a full moon facing north. Only one person has felt unease in its presence, possibly her subconscious mind at work, wrecking her spiritual education. We’ve tendered it a gift today, placing a chunk of amethyst at its feet.
